Driving Events with RFTs

Anyone have experience with driving events on the stock RFTs? I'm interested in doing some driving events and autox this season and I assume RFTs will be fine in autox. What I'm worried about is the length and intensity of a driving event... will my RFTs absolutely suck and sully my experience, especially after a few runs?

I'll ditch the RFTs when they're worn and I've got some money saved up, but for now they'll have to do.

RFT sucks.
They can't even hold up well with my spirited driving.

I ran the RFT's on the track once, they held up quite well to the abuse but I'm sure I could've shaved off a few more seconds if I had better tires at the time.

But if you're looking to kill the tires, even the track isnt rough enough on them.

thanks for the input. I'm not looking to waste the tires, just wanted to know if they'll suffice.

I found that driving on RFT's for track events creates a really bad wear pattern on the tires, while you'll get a lot more shoulder wear with any tire in spirited driving, i think the case is even more pronounced with RFT's

Mostly due to the thicker and more solid side walls.

But if RFT's are all you got, they work just fine for the track. I was able to give a few Hemi's a run for their money through the turns, granted they were pulling like heck at the straights, it wasn't a bad day for me.
