Looking into getting some kind of stripe on my z4, need opinion!

Please don't put racing stripes on a BMW Z4. If you want to be different, get aftermarket rims, get a suspension drop, or get the aerodynamic side skirts. Leave the racing stripes to riced out mustangs.

I'm not too keen on the idea of racing stripes... but how is a drop and rims being different? If the man wants racing stripes do as you please and post pictures when you get done... I might laugh, I might say it looks good... its your damn car so do as you please.

But yea... rims and a drop... thats pretty standard to me...

I cant even find anything for a non M coupe as far as suspension so maybe Ill just get a stripe instead

Your car isnt a viper dont put stripes on it. Stripes on a car that doesnt come stock with them = rice. Why not put a big ass wing on while youre at it?

after seeing most of the responses to the OP, i'd stripe it just to annoy everyone here. Do as you want. I'd do it, but I don't think maldives blue and any color stripe would work.

Rims (light-weight rims to reduce unsprung weight) and suspensions might actually serve a purpose in improving acceleration, steering response, handling performance and driveability. Racing stripes add rice-horsepower.

It is basics to modding...why do anything else when you dont have the basics done? A "NICE" set of wheels will make a big difference in appearance vs some replica/stock wheels...same goes for ride quality/performance of springs alone vs a entire suspension upgrade.

Just giving my opinion but as long as he likes the stripes and chosses to do it ...its all that should matter<----lol I love this dancing guy

Yep I not only remember them I also have an MGB. Everytime I register it, get the oil changed or simply have to tell someone the name of the car, they say "But who is the manufacturer?" when I say MG. Some even ask me if it is a Ford MG or Dodge MG.
