'Add Coolant' light turns on intermittently after radiator flush

I did a radiator flush on my own two days ago.

What I did:

- Unplugged the radiator plug to drain old coolant out
- Added distilled water and let it drain out (I also blew into the expansion tank to ensure complete drainage) [did this about 4 times]
- topped up coolant to the max level

Now, it seems every time I drive, the 'Add Coolant' indicator (yellow) light up intermittently. Some times it stays on for almost the whole journey, other times it turns on an of every 10 minutes or so. The temperature of the engine stays normal.

I have been adding coolant to the expansion tank about 3 times now since two days ago.

Should I go to the dealership?

My brand new Si had same symptom as your car and had to fill up the full bucket of coolant twice in 3 weeks of ownership.
I took it to the dealer and found that water hose or coolant hose was loose and it leaked the fluid which ended up damaging some belt and some other pieces which I can't remember the names.

Yes, my add coolant light was on intermittenlty as well and the engine temperature stayed normal.

perhaps I didn't do a good job securing the coolant plug.

if my car still keeps asking for coolant tomorrow, i'll take it to the dealer. I don't want to take the chance of damaging stuff in the engine compartment.
