M car traction control
so on my old car the 2.5i the traction control had 2 settings
put dsc once to turn dsc off hold dsc for 3 seconds to turn it completely off. but my new M doesn't have 2 settings only one setting. on / off is that right? i kind of liked the 1/2 off mode just in case i screw up. |

That is correct, however, the M traction control is far less intrusive than non-M traction control settings.

To be technically correct to the owners manual M cars don't have traction control,
It states in the supplement manual that contrary to the Z4 the Z4M doesn't come equipped with traction control, Instead the M cars have DSC or Dynamic Stability Control instead of DTC (sure you can work out that acronym) It does allow "some" wheel slippage and personally I noticed a difference with that and my previous Z4 with traction control which pretty much steps in immediately as that ONE right wheel slips lol I guess BMW feels one wheel peels FTL
