Let's see what the hype is about
I bit the bullet and decided to purchase the ZHP knob along with some items i needed replace on the vehicle.
So far first impressions out of box without installation: 1. Leather feels so soft and smooth 2. Weight of the knob feels like a 3 lb rock (good thing) Will find some time tomorrow to install it and see how the shifting feels. |

Shifting feels so much better. Feels like a short shifter and the weight of the knob absorbs some of the notchiness so if feels smoother. I love this knob! Every one must buy!

Definitely removes a lot of the rubbery feeling that exists with the taller OEM shift knob.

I'm still trying to get used to the shorter knob, though. My wrist is rubbing and touching the e-brake handle on occasions.
Also, it takes a bit more effort to throw it in reverse with the shorter knob. |

Less leverage, more effort. This is one I take a pass on. But I can understand why one would prefer the trade off.
