Very nice! What are the wheel sizes pictured? Tire sizes? Any rubbing? I'm think about doing this to my '04 Sapphire Black 3.0i/ Still have not decided on silver/silver or silver/gunmetel combo.

Yeah, I'd like to know what size the wheels are and the offsets as well.
Any rubbing issues? This may have to be my next purchase.

Its 19 x 8.5 ET35 and 19x9.5 ET40 - tire size is a 235/35/19 and 265/30/19
For you M guys its going to be an ET20 rear, tires you'd go with 245/35/19 275/30/19 Oh yeah and the 19's are $799 for a set, if you guys need wheel & tire packages just email/pm me. I'll send you a list. |

Thanks Ron! No rubbing at all, correct? *sigh* If there wasn't a reason to upgrade the brakes before, there sure will be with those wheels...

Nice!
I really want these, haha. Lemme see if I can scrounge up the cash. Any reason in particular the M's get fatter rubber?

Does the set include the proper valve stems for the '07 M models? We've got the upgraded TPMS on this model year. Also, are they available in 18's as well? I'm just curious about the price difference. Thanks! |

Also, the price difference only comes out to something like $5 less per wheel.

Just out of curiosity, is the black zed in the first post lowered with the factory sport suspension?

Damn... been thinking about these wheels way too much recently.
Will the 19X9.5 size fit the fronts without rubbing on the inner wheelwell (eg. full lock turning)? If so, what would be the recommended offset? I was thinking about 19X9.5 all-around setup. |

Get the rims!
You might be able to get away with 19x9.5 that's intended for the regular Z4. The off-set is probably around negative 43~45. But then you might run into rubbing problem if you ever lower the car.

Hey... don't... encourage....me. Feeling weak...
After looking at Mako's setup, I don't think the car will need any lowering. It looks just fine. |

Here I was hoping this thread would quietly go away, can't afford to do this yet. Everytime I see the M6 rep's I want to break out the CC and have 'em delivered! Maybe after Homecoming or else talk the wife into making them a Xmas present.
Cheers! |

But mako's is dropped due to aspect ratio.

Not exactly. Its wheel gap is actually wider than stock since the overall tire diameter is less than stock tires. The car sits lower slightly, but the wheel gap is also larger slightly which is another reason (other than simply visual tricks) that makes a car look like a 4x4 when one upsizes the rims. I think the M6 rims are one of the few exceptions and let you get away without absolutely needing to lower the car because of their unqiue styling.
