I could also talk to cf-dynamics here in Germany to check what they would charge to produce this. If you want to, send it over to me as well

PM me your personal email address' and I'll send to you guys. Keep in mind, the design is rough since I'm working to a very low res scan of the car.

Hey guys,
i think i have found what we have been looking for. http://www.carbon-goeke.de This company, based in the south of Germany, is making very high quality carbon fibre parts mainly for BMW. They offer several different modifications for the Z4M coupe in cf such as widebodies in different sizes, roofs, airboxes, spoiler and splitters etc. I've been in contact with the owner in the past, since i have heard nothing but good reviews about the company in the german official M-forum before. So i got back to them and showed them the file you created and what you had in mind. He says it wouldn't be a problem to produce the lip, especially since they have an own Z4M coupe and could do the fitting on spot. He would also ship to the US no problem. prices for the rearspoiler would be around 950€ per piece + 2500€ in tools which would be equally devided by the number of orders. cheers |

well, i agree the price is quite hefty. A non cf version would be cheaper of course, but i guess everybody wants the cf! Suggestions anybody? |

Anything over $400 is a deal breaker for such a small piece like a lip spoiler. I don't like carbon either so i'm not paying premium for something that will be painted over.

I get that and i agree, although the quality is A1 it's still too much.
Still, that was all i could find so far since not too many cf manufacturers have a Z4M coupe standing around. How about you guys come up with some ideas as well. I'm sure in the US there's plenty of custom cf companies. |

I would be a buyer at 500, depending on style and fitment, but I too agree 1000 is too high. Can you ask what a non-cf spoiler would cost?
Also does anyone have a photo of what this proposed file with the specs? I want to see what I looks like??

I didn't want to announce anything until I can find a coupe trunk and can commit time to do this.
We are working out some logistics issue right now and is committed to create a coupe version of the Skyer CF spoiler very soon. An interest poll will soon be created to see which design is the most popular. Bought a trunk for test fitment purpose. Ready to be packed and shipped.. .

I've been checking up on this every week or so, was definitely in for a rear lip under 500. anything more then that Is way too much for an aesthetic piece imo.

Bad news. Our artist quit before he was able to mill out the foam prototype, so now i am resorting to pulling one of the other workers to get it done for me.
