I have a new tune and it's running amazing! I'm very pleased with the tune and the customer service that VF have provided. Nik and Jeff have been a pleasure to work with and are always available to answer questions and give support. I even sent a text at 1am and got a response! What other company does that?

I'm currently running 10 psi (in this weather) and the car is a beast! I have absolutely no complaints with the kit and have ~1100 miles on it so far.

As far as fueling, the stock pump is up for the task and there was never an issue there. The issue arose because of slightly different software on my car, which is now resolved.

I'm working to get my exhaust project (straight through resonators in place of cats) completed this weekend, then I'll be hitting the dyno again.

That's great news, glad to hear they jumped on the issue and fixed it. Let us see those new graphs when you get them! Thanks Rated M!

10psi eh? Thats my goal. Gonna have to search this thread and find out exactly what fueling upgrades were done, I'm assuming just the injectors

Without cats, you SHOULD hit 500rwhp

Excellent news! Will you have a new dyno with revised AFR's? Would be great to back up the fix with some true #'s. I think a lot of people are waiting for this confirmation to place their order.

I think some E46M3 guys were losing HP with no cats because of the oem cam overlap. I'm assuming stock cams here.

I'd guess its possible if you're running a high flow x-pipe and straight through mufflers too (Like eisemann race or RPI). If there's enough backpressure after the section 1, SUPERCHARGED cars should pick up 20rwhp or so

Please see if you can find more info, on the cars that lost power

OP, have you ever taken your car to the 1/4 mile? I'd love to see what kind of time it can put down. Maybe not the lowest ET if its your first time out, but I've love to see if it can run trap speeds over 125mph

I'll get graphs and logs of the new tune when weather permits (got snow yesterday).

Sorry, not too interested in the 1/4 mile. I may eventually get a vbox and do rolling times though.

A little update on my other projects. I ordered some PLX gauges (boost and AFR) and it's an awesome concept, but the actual product sucks; seriously one of the cheapest products I've bought for a while and I'll leave it at that.

As far as the exhaust, my order came in from http://www.mandrelbendingsolutions.com and they sent some of the wrong parts. EDIT: The correct parts should arrive for this weekend.

eh, don't hate the quarter mile until you try it. Its a fun way to measure your launching/shifting abilities and compare it to other cars. Its a LOT more fun than racing from streetlights, and takes practice and skill to get the most out of your car, especially if its heavily modified with a lot of power.

Hell, you hit 125mph as much as 8 times in one night, without worrying about police, for about $20

I went to a local track last night for $20

Mods listed below

I was doing a low rev drive off launch, not holding any rpm and dropping the clutch.

13.3 was my fastest time at 109.2 mph, horribe 2.20 60ft time.

Was not getting any wheel hop or anything and not "launching" it I saw no real risk in braking anything.

I just prefer corners. A track day here is $50 and often you can have the entire track to yourself. Open track days have actually already started this year, but I think it's a little cold for my tires still. It's a short 1.7 mile track, but it's great fun... Will probably hit it up soon!

Put the AR20s in place of the cats today. No rasp at all and it may actually be quieter during normal driving.

Why did VF stop at the 570 kit? Would be nice if they offered a "race" Stage3 kit!

Based on HPF's turbo data, they seem to be able to push 600whp on stock internals (granted better gas than 91 octane):

LHD Stage 2 Dyno

91 Octane (518hp)
91 Oct + Alc (670hp)
110 Octane (731hp)
110 Oct + Alc (762hp)
Multiply by 0.82 for rwhp
60-130mph in 6.86 sec
Factory Internals

It would seem that VF could go one more step further, perhaps a VF670 kit which requires meth or race fuel at the minimum (perhaps 12-14psi?).

VF does offer a stage 3, but it's custom build only and requires a built motor with lower compression. While running a meth dependent tune is feasible, it's not reliable. Most fail-safes on meth kits are connected to the boost controller; of which a centrifugal SC does not have. A meth pump fails and there goes your motor.

VAC even has a VF/VAC710 kit listed on their site.

I'm actually ordering an Aquamist meth kit shortly, but only for extra cooling and a slight octane boost on the track. It will have 6 jets spraying an ~17% mixture-to-fuel ratio 4 inches before each TB; with flow relative to the fuel injector duty cycles.

I've run the AEM meth for 3 years without a hitch on my Supra! I understand VF designed this kit for the average Joe and to reduce as much risk as possible.

Still, another 3 or 4 more psi could net you some more torque through the usable range (how many times do you regularly push her to 8000rpm?)

Beside that, any good encounters on the road? How does it pull compared to others?

Before you tweak the setup any more, can you please give us a dyno / AFR charts after the tune update?
You are the guinea pig, we need data!!

And the flames are awesome.
