Well - just a daily commute on my tires for mileage so far, but the thing that really stands out is the feel of the road at the steering wheel. The numbness in steering wheel feel I have always heard being a problem of the power steering boost is really the result of the tires. There are a couple of places along my commute that have a very strong tendency towards tramlining with the RFTs and today I couldn't even get a hint of it when I intentionally tried to hit the pavement grooves that were the worst case before.

Much more positive feel for the road at the steering wheel across the board. I am a much happier camper now.

You don't need these as much as I do - at least you got some reasonable specimens in the first place. The RFTs just feel lifeless to me.
Eak,
Looks like a bargain in the US! Look how much they are here
http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/details...581&Country=UK
That would equate to $1500 for all 4

Just try pricing a set of PS2s for the 19" CSL rims! Came to £870 - or about $1800!!

But I have to agree - an outstanding tyre! I didn't come from RFTs, but even from the standard M ContiSports, they're a huge improvement!

I was being cheap and just had them installed on the rims that came with my car. I thought about new rims, shook my piggy bank and decided I would have to be happy with tires only.....

I like the OEM rims on your car. I'm glad you kept them.

And that is a VERY important aspect of any wheel choice. When wheels are hard to clean the don't get cleaned as often and then you know where that goes.......

New wheels.....

They don't look that easy to clean. What about that annoying space within each spoke?

It's a gently fluted surface - not a slot all the way through. Cleans quite easily with a wash mitt.

You are looking at it in my sig picture. Best description is on the 3M website:

3M Clear Bra

I have had this on my last 3 cars and arranged to have the dealer get it done before I took delivery.

Oh, that is what that is. I saw that on a 335 at my dealer. I could see it at the edges and wondered what it was.
