To follow up on my last couple posts, I got the wheels and they fit perfectly!

As a reminder, this is a 2003 3.0 6-speed on stock suspension. Wheels are Aodhan LS002 in 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 R +35 all around. Tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 in 225/40/19 and 255/35/19. They're an inch taller than stock for a non-M, but the same overall diameter as M's. IMO they fill out the arches beautifully at stock height, and still maintain a decent sidewall to keep the comfort up.

Only issue I've had is a slight rub on the front wheel well plastic on the wheel well lip at about the 10 o'clock position. It will be a very easy fix with a slight trim. Anyways, I'm pretty stoked on them! Most likely will get a coating of black plasti dip in the not too distant future.

Has anyone found a good 18" staggered sizing for the track?

Really going to be limited by your suspension and alignment. For stock, I think a high performance summer tire in 225/255 on 8.5" mid 30's offset and 9.0" high 30's to 40 offset rear is best bet.

Found these, really good weight to price ratio:
https://konigwheels.com/wheels/flow-...els/hypergram/

The bore is a little off, but a 5mm hub ring should be the ticket.

35 offset all around.

Front 18x8.5 235/40r18
Rear 18x9.5 265/35r18

From the research I've done these should be a nice little sweet spot. They are smaller than my 19s which don't rub anymore since I've raised the car. Last year I won a limbo competition and then proceeded to raise the car so I could drive it hard again.

I rubbed on 235 with stock without camber but with camber you should be fine. 265 otoh might be tad understeer. Why not 255 square?

The front is roughly the same dimensions as my 19" setup.

As for the rear, my theory was more rubber = more grip. I'm ok with some under steer to keep myself safe as a new 'track' driver. Especially since the goal will be to up power in the (ideally) near future.

No rub right? (pretty sure but would like to confirm )

I'm also heavily considering the Ultraform which is only about half a pound heaver per wheel but I'm more confident on brake clearance.

The only problem is the offsets are now a little wacky.

18 x 8.5 38mm offset front

18 x 9.5 36mm offset rear

Thoughts?

Krect zero rub up front and only light rub in rear over severe depressions.
I always thought I would like a 10mm spacer on the front for a bit more flush look.

I've been crunching tons of numbers at the moment. Comparing to my stock 18" sport wheels and 19" Rotiform setup. I'm going to pull the trigger on the ultraform as the weights and prices aren't that different but the offsets get me a little more clearance where I want. Since this will be my track setup I don't mind a little more clearance to the fender, even if its only 1mm. hehe

NUMBERS!...for those looking in the future:

Stock Front 18 x 8.0 ET47 // 225/40R18
Stock Rear 18 x 9.5 ET50 // 255/35R18

Rotiforms Front 19 x 8.5 ET35 // 235/35R19
Rotiforms Rear 19 x 10 ET40 // 265/35R19

Hypergram Front 18 x 8.5 ET35 // 235/40R18
--6mm more clearance than stock on inner, same as Rotiform
--18mm extended outer over stock, same as Rotiform
Hypergram Rear 18 x 9.5 ET35 // 265/35R18
--2mm more clearance than stock on inner, 11mm more clearance than Rotiform
--28mm extended outer over stock, 1mm less extended than Rotiform

Ultraform Front 18 x 8.5 ET38 // 235/40R18
--3mm more clearance than stock on inner, 3mm more clearance than Rotiform
--18mm extended outer over stock, 3mm less than Rotiform
Ultraform Rear 18x x 9.5 ET36 // 265/35R18
--1mm more clearance than stock on inner, 27mm more clearance than Rotiform
--27mm extended outer over stock, 2mm less extended than Rotiform

Front Tires:
225/40/18 - stock
--DIA 25.09"
--CIRC 78.81"

235/35/19
--DIA 25.48"
--CIRC 80.04"

235/40/18
--DIA 25.40"
--CIRC 79.80"

Rear Tires:
255/35/18 - stock
--DIA 25.03"
--CIRC 78.63"

265/35/19
--DIA 26.30"
--CIRC 82.63"

265/35/18

Any handling Issues?

Have not read much regarding how the varying wheel size and offsets may have changed the handling characteristics of their cars (good or bad) where spirited driving is involved, any thoughts?
I can say just ditching the runflats on the front of my standard 17" wheels helped a great deal, Im looking to go for the 313 style staggered 9x19" 39 offset on the rear and 8x19" 37 offset on the front but not at the expense of the handling or behaviour issues.

So I bought the 3SDMS 0.05's and now about to order some tyres for them,

E86 z4c 3.0si

5x120

WIDTH: 8.5" FRONT ET35 offset

WIDTH 9.5" REAR ET40 offset

Goodyear Asymmetric 3 235/40/18 front

Goodyear Asymmetric 3 265/35/18 rear

Is this the perfect size for these wheels please?

Will I encounter any rubbing issues?

Cheers for any advice offered!

Front may rub the liners without adding camber

Sticking to overall factory diameter would certainly help but now your rear tires are taller than your fronts

I used the exact same tire sizes for years on lowered suspension with zero rub up front and only slight rub over severe road dips in the rear.
Only difference from your wheel specs was I had et35 in the rear. Your et40 spec should be perfect IMO

But your lowered setup also introduced camber which actually helped. His rears should be fine but 235/40 will be slightly too tall and rub the front liners.

Agreed
The OP would not need to add too much camber for the 235 to fit without issue

Also agree, should only take -1.2 to -1.5 degrees to avoid any rub
