taking off door panels on 07' z4 coupe 3.0si

I wanted to take my interior door panels off of my 2007 BMW Z4 coupe 3.0si to install some puddle lights at the bottom. I know I have to run some wires, but I want them to light up as soon as you open the door. I realize they do not come equipped with these lights stock, so I am going in and doing it myself. I just don't want to mess anything up while taking these door panels up. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Bavarian Sound Werks has youtube videos, complete walkthrough for removing the door cards IOT install their speaker upgrade. Their site has a link or search them on youtube, checkout all their videos then scroll till you see the ones for the E85/86. Hope this helps.
