Official Yellow Thread
This is most likely the one and only Yellow Thread. But here is my Dad's BMW Z4 3.0. The original color was Silver, but was completely repainted to a Corvette (GM) Yellow. The reasoning behind it? Our company colors are Yellow and Green. So here is a picture of it.
We were at Miller Motorsports Park. I was driving it in Time Trials and took a girl from the track out for a few laps during one session! Enjoy! -Derek Sabol- |

Yeah the color looks great imo. The only thing I think we should do is possibly change the convertible top to Black, because the tan looks a little akward when it's up. However; I don't know how well the black top would compliment the Tan interior.
I will try and get some better photos up within the next few days! |

a black top would def compliment the yellow better
i would think you could get away with it even with the tan interior, as you can't really see the interior too well when the top is up, especially if you gave the windows a nice dark tint |

I wonder if there is anyway to Die the top? Or do you think we would have to replace the whole entire top...if we were to go with a black one? A dark tint would look cool but I'm not sure my dad would go for that, even though it would be nice in our AZ heat.
I really wish Yellow was a factory color too, because we would most likely have an all BMW Garage. haha. Thanks for all the compliments guys! Hoping to get some more pictures up soon. |

Looks awesome. 100x better than BMW's OEM Phoenix Yellow.
Though personally I probably would've gone with Ferrari or Aston Marton or Porsche yellow (and it probably wouldn't have cost more). Something about having GM/Corvette color on my car would irk me a litte. |
