Anybody in Southern Ontario know how to do Timing?

I am going to have to get into the Vanos and replace parts with the Beisan system. Choice is I pay for the dealership to do it or I do it myself. I suspect I can get the Vanos off and do the work myself but I do not have the tools or know how to do the timing.

If there is anyone who has done this before in the Southern Ontario area, I'd be happy to provide the beer, pizza, and undying gratitude if you could give me a hand at some point over the next couple of weekends.

Hey Mike,
It's my understanding from researching the Vanos rebuild articles is that the timing is not affected by replacing the seals or even repairing the "vanos rattle".
I will be doing the same thing this winter but have opted to buy a complete rebuilt unit.
Dr Vanos is one good source of info on the subject as well as Beisan and they do report that the cam timing is not affected by removing the Vanos unit from the car.

As I understand it, in order to replace the cam bolts timing is affected.

The Vanos unit on the 3.2 is likely different to the 3.0

A skill set i want to acquire.
I don't think you'd want me to practice on your car though
