Met a fellow Z4M owner tonight
I am in Bloomington-Normal, IL for business and went to a brewery for dinner with a coworker. We were standing in middle of the parking lot and a a couple guys walked by my car and started looking at it up close, saying "yeah this car is definitely set up for autocross!"
I walked up and told him that it was my car, we chatted for a few seconds. He said that he had a Z4M Coupe and was headed to SCCA Nationals soon. Might seem like a lame story/post but it was unexpected to meet a fellow autocrosser AND Z4M owner so randomly. If you're reading this.. Hi Alex! |

I remember the first time I was in Normal as a teenage stoner.
Pulled off the expressway to get gas and munchies. Right next to us at the pump was the "Normal Police". That's just not fair when you're stoned. How are you supposed to act normal when the Normal Police are looking at you?

Had a similar experience back in the early 80's with the band I was in heading up to Cape Cod to a gig, tripping and stoned and we happened to pass the Sandwich Police. It was tough to stop laughing.

That's hilarious. The local kids joke about Sandwich until they're about 5th grade. Then they mature a little bit. I guess a stoned adult is about as mature as an elementary school kid
