Door ajar light
Do we have one on our cars? I was driving home yesterday and noticed the car kept making noises over every bump. I thought there must be something wrong with my suspension, it sounded like I was hitting the bump stops on every road imperfection. I pull over and realized my door wasn't closed all the way.
On a side note, for those of you who are lowered do you bottom out often? It seems like I'm bottoming out every 15 min when I drive because our roads are so bad. I'm guessing it's hitting the bump stop before the shock is fully depressed, right? Is there any harm in this? |

Thanks, but I was hoping to hear that we don't have one since I didn't see any dash warning lights on (it was the first thing I checked for before I pulled over). I guess my bulb for that is out. Wouldn't it be ironic if my bulb-out light was also out?

FYI my 2003 had developed this issue where the door would pop open (not completely open but just pop out) every time the car hit a major bump. Apparently a common problem on early models (not sure if it also affects post-facelift). |
