Picked up an '07 M coupe from a local sale here in Scottsdale.

Wow, what a car! I've had many previous bimmers (E28, E24, E36, E34 touring, E39 touring, E46 touring, E61 touring) and have an '07 Mini Cooper S, but this is the most fun I've had!

It's really a visceral experience to drive this car.

Can't wait to learn more about it.

My first BMW "experience" I bought a Merlot Z4 3.0i 5 speed automatic (don't laugh I had reasons). I am just bowled over by the car overall. I was driving a supercharged '01 Miata with a full on suspension/tires (for sale) and this thing does everything it did but comfortably/quietly and solidly and MAYBE better. Wife likes the added room, ease of driving and tunes that can be heard making it down the highway...she typically drives harder than I do and is in love with it too. There are only 2 sixes that feel and sound this good...the other is the Jag. I don't even have plans to tweak it....yet. John

Hey everyone. I just bought my first BMW, a black on black 2007 Z4 Coupe. Only bad part is that I live in Columbus, OH and the car's in Oklahoma. The BMW dealer is shipping it so I guess I'll have a few restless nights until I get it! Looking forward to driving it though.

I go to school full time, work full time but I live at home haha. Oh well. I'm almost 20, I pay for my own stuff cause living at home is free. I'm 1 year away from being in pharmacy school. Thats about it.

Hi everyone, I’m a newly registered member but I’ve been lurking for a few years I bought my ‘08 M Coupe in April 2009, with 13K miles on the clock. I’ve always had my eye on M Coupes since the original Z3 based car came out, but never thought I’d pull the trigger. I love the overall eccentricity of the car and how it likes to be driven hard. It’s definitely not for everyone. It’s mainly a weekend/joyride car. My daily driver is a ‘04 TSX 6MT and I have a ‘92 Accord that comes in handy now and then.

A little info about me: I’m 32 years old and work in product marketing for a software company that is best known for its photo editing and documentation tools. My past rides have included a ’05 S2000, ‘03 G35C 6MT, ’00 CBR 600F4, ’95 GS-R, and some miscellaneous beaters. My other passion besides cars are collecting retro and vintage sneakers (probably strange to most of you).

great to see the z4 and the m coupes are catching on... getting really lonely in Toronto... hardly even see a z4, let alone an M.

I've got a shit brown z4 m coupe, 2007. bbs lm-r 19's and just ordered the SS race headers, race cats, x pipe, race mufflers. can't wait.

If you've got great experiences with ECU and intake mods, please let me know... I've got them next on my list

Wow - in a town as big as Toronto, I'd expect to see a lot of Z4's! I'm out here in St. John's which is a much much smaller town - and as I type this, there is a black Z4 parked right next to mine in the company lot.
