Tuning

I bought a 2003 Z4 3.0i a little over a month ago. (It has 69k) I would just like to ask some questions about Tuning for performance little by little. If I wanted to go all out, I'd sell the car and buy the Z4M. So with that in mind, what type of small changes can I make?? My first idea was getting high performance plugs, and then move on from there. Can someone out there be serious enough to help me out with this procedure instead of wise cracking individuals that post their EGO, which is no help at all.

Thank You.

First you won' t find ANY egos' here, just lots of knowledge

Cold air intake and freer flowing exhaust will net you some power increase you can feel.
Things like plugs, wires and coils is maintenance stuff you can start with to bring your car up to peak performance from stock.

Lots of people will chime in and give you their take.

Welcome to the fold.

^ agreed. Big power will cost you big dollars. Doing it in small pieces will cost you a lot in the long run without totally transforming the car. However, they can make the car more enjoyable in terms of sound and driving experience.

It's just in other posts that I have placed about simple things like the transmission, sport on/off since I live in LA, and gas mileage because I have never owned a BMW before. All my other cars were MBZ. I was curious because I just bought a car I swore up and down I would never buy. So I had individuals come and place "High Brow" posts that were sophomoric........

Poky. Very, Very nice set up you have. Do you live bt the Cost?? So tell me, my car is stock. Very nice I may add. But what would be the first investment I should work on?? I'm thinking "Air Flow" might be a good place to start. But I'm not going to place 1k down right off the bat......Suggestions??
