Pre Facelift to Facelift Rear (Questions before I move forward)
My Z was rear ended last week and I’m going to use this as an opportunity to update the look of the rear from the pre facelift tails/bumper to the facelift.
I’ve been doing research and so far it looks like this is what I’ll need: Facelift Bumper Cover #51127170618 Left LED Tail #63217162729 Right LED Tail #63217162730 Left Tail Surround #51717167525 Right Tail Surround #51717167526 Now to my questions, first do I need the following? Bumper Mount #51127158875 (there is a center piece and then also a left and right listed with different part numbers..) As for the coding, wiring etc. to get the LEDs working right and no bulb out warning Wiring Clusters: (Is this correct for US/NA spec cars? I know there was an issue with rear fog lights and reverse lights with EU models but I don't quite understand) Left side 1 Black-yellow 2 empty 3 brown 4 black-green 5 gray-purple 6 blue-green Right side 1 blue-brown 2 gray-yellow 3 blue-black 4 brown 5 blue-yellow 6 empty Coding: Quote:
Hoping someone who has done this swap can chime in. Thanks!

Well, ordered the parts, we'll see how this goes. Surprised no one has done this, or at least has input on it, on here.

You should be able to sort out the pre/post wiring using the WDS.
It's pretty straight forward. Let me know if you need help. Here's the wire color code translation, courtesy of drbvac.
