Euro Front Bumper vs US Front Bumper

Searched through some of the sub-forums and didn't find anything, so here's what I'm curious about.

Is there even a Euro Bumper? Is it Different?

Primarily, does it have side markers? I'm replacing mine and figured I'd look to see what options there are. Has to be OEM.

Otherwise I'm just going to have them paint over all the side markers as many here have previously done.

Thanks guys!

The euro bumper does not have any sidemarkers. I had my sidemarkers shaved as well as my headlight sprayers. My bumper is pretty beat up and needs to be painted again. I would be curious as to how much a euro bumper would be.

It looks as though the Euro bumper is provided from ECS, looks around 550. I need to dig around though and maybe give them a call to figure out just how expensive it really is.

If anyone had a part number ready that'd be sweet, I'll be digging tonight.

Hmm I would definitely like to know. My bumper could probably use replacement. I think this time I'm going to raise the coilovers up a little bit lol

This is discouraging...

(European Model Search E86 on last production date)

Euro OEM Code: 51113448818
US OEM Code: 51113448817

HRMMMMM. Different Results anyone?
ECS's model is US Spec but I'm attempting to verify if it has the reflector cutaways or not.

Low and behold... it is from a warehouse holes and all.

If you like the Aero bumper, that has no reflectors

It's not a bad look, but I don't think I want to go back to round fogs, I could uninstall them and use them as FI ducts, but not sure that's the route I'd like to go.

Looked at the Hamann bumper and I liked the styling a little more, but it wasn't worth the price tag for a bumper cover that'll likely get marked up anyways.

Thanks for the suggestion

That's exactly what I"m doing with my Aero bumper, using the fogs to route air to the brakes.

If it eases the mind at all, I could not find another front bumper without the reflectors for any of those looking. Essentially all of our stock OEM BMW versions are going to have the reflectors on them for purchase on the market currently.

There are the aftermarket options and custom bumpers but I did not have the time to wait for one as I need to replace mine currently. Under different circumstances I may have gone with the Hamann but it doesn't seem to make that great a difference for a 2k price point.

I am having these reflectors painted over as it seems to be the best/easiest option.

PS: I still think our stock bumper looks pretty damn good and there really wasn't a need to change it, just inquired for the sake of looking.

Thanks 3002
