Replace Driver Seat
I am looking to replace the driver seat with Recaro SPG.
Has someone posted the instructions/steps? It is kindda tight so I want to learn from other experience. Looks like I just have to remove the 4 floor bolts, undo the seat belt mount to the seat, but can't tell whether there is any electrical cables for seat belt sensor, power seat, or any air bag distance sensor on driver side?? Thanks |

There is one multiple pin plug under the seat which can be most easily accessed from the front floor with the seat in a raised position. Can't remember exactly how it works, but the plug has a positive locking device like maybe a red lever which must be moved before unplugging.
You're aware of course that you will have issues with airbag and/or seat belt lights afterward. |
