New to the forums
I'm pretty new to the forums and a new'ish owner of an e85, I'm loving every moment of it.
Unlike most of the other forums I'm subscribed to, the posters here are VERY helpful and nice to the newbie. I've stumbled upon zpost trying to figure out what I can do with my antenna. After reading several threads, I decided to sign up. One of the best things I've done on the internet I usually feel incompetent/lazy when I ask "stupid" questions on forums, but the posters here accept the fact that I am a newb and don't bash me at all for it. I just want to say thanks to everyone, especially those who have welcomed me into the Z4 community with open arms. Your kindness and helpfulness have not gone unnoticed. -djoutcry (Arvin), Toronto Canada Last edited by SwissArmy; 01-14-2013 at 10:54 AM.. |

Welcome!
The community is great here, just be careful and not bring up a debate against roadster vs. coupes. Cause we all know coupes are better...

Welcome!
I know exactly what you mean. It's a very pleasant forum filled with some lovely people. Btw, post some z4 porn of your new machine!! And Riddler, those are fighting words ...but I'll admit that the coupe is one sexy machine. regards, gas-can |

Thank you all of you! Such a friendly welcome! Yep, I'm up for a meetup. Hopefully I get my ride up to "par" with you guys by then. It's kind of hard given the weather, and having to work a 2 hr drive from home (due to rush hour)
This is what I find strange: When I didn't have a z4, I rarely see them on the streets. When I get one, I see them all over (ok not ALL over, but you get what I mean). Thanks again guys, and I look forward to meeting you guys this spring/summer. Until then, I'm going to be bugging all of you to get my ride up to spec haha. I'm a total newb to cars/z4. I mean, I know the basics, but I'm a newb to mods and where to turn to. P.S. lol @ the roadsters vs. coupes nudges going on here haha |

Arvin, I agree with you 100% and welcome. I felt like an idiot last night when I could not figure out where the fuse panel is on my Z. Found the answer on here. COuldn't figure out where to hook up the battery tender. Was ready to try to figure out how to uncover the battery in the trunk but found out on here there are posts for that in the engine bay. All this is in the manual I don't have but have downloaded but it's just easier to use the Zpost manual here.
BTW, if you want to get them worked up more than roadster > coupe, ask about how to make your Z faster in the 1/4 mile |
