Picked up my replacement for my totaled LSB e46 M3 last night.
Lady plowed into the front of my LSB m3 3 weeks ago when I was stopped waiting to turn at a red light and totaled it.
I replaced it with this last night: 2007 Z4 M coupe. sapphire black on black w/ aluminum trim + nav. anyway here are the pics: Bought from BMW Bellevue, same place I bought my e46 from 3 years ago and again they were awesome to deal with, and not just when I was there with cash to buy the car, they are great even when they know I have no intention of buying anything that day. Buy experience was a little interesting since there were 2 other people there that wanted to purchase the car at the same time as I was driving it, so it was a bit like that vw commercial (). But everyone turned out well for me in the end, sorry who ever the dude in the c5 z06 on LM's that was trying to get the car as well!

Congratulations on your new car. It looks great and I hope you enjoy many happy miles in it. Your story about there being two other people trying to buy the car at the same time is pretty amazing because back in 2007 these cars sold very poorly and BMW had to offer huge incentives to move them off the lots. If your car is LL93907, $30K is a great deal for a CPO car with a three year warranty.

Sorry about your luck with the e46, I do so love the LSB cars. Congrats on the coupe though. I think you're gonna enjoy the different experience from the M3. Any plans for modding?

My e46 had coilovers with camber plates, recaro fixed back seats, csl wheels, short shifter, etc. etc. etc. and the mz4 is faster in a straight line, turns in sharper, and brakes harder then my e46 ever did. Granted I did give up alot of space, utility, and practicality but I don't care... im just pleasantly suprised since an e46 m3 and mz4 share so many components I expected them to drive very similarily but they really don't. Hell the mz4 suspension wise feels almost identical to my e46 m3 on coilovers, only the car turns in better and the steering is sharper, faster, and has better feel. Only plans so far are OEM strut brace, stickers to cover the reflectors, and maybe the CF BMW lip spoiler.

Congrats, Looks like a sweet ride! I was looking at M3s before I got my Z4MC, I'm glad I made the right choice. I'm not knocking the M3 but this more suits my style.

Glad you are happy with your replacement! Now if I could just finish paying my loan so I could upgrade too! Haha. Only 2 more years on my car and bike.... feels like forever!

Congrats on the beautiful new ride. You'll love it.
Suggest you consider adding the CDV [clutch delete valve] if it has not already been done on the car. It's inexpensive and makes the clutch livable. |

You need to not sell those CSL, and put them on the car. Perfect wheel for the car.

Did the insurance company let you take your mods off the M3 or did they insist on keeping everything when the car was turned over to them? |

Welcome to the NW Coupe Groupe'.
Looks like you snagged a local car at a good price. Camp BMW in Spokane has a similar Z4MC with 18500 on the clock priced at $36,000. My first stop would be to a good body shop like Haury's for a thorough paint/panel inspection. My second stop would be a car control clinic to learn the driving characteristics of this beast. Even though it shares many parts with your former E46 M3 that's where the similarity ends. Enjoy your new toy
