I have the tune in my car and was really impressed by the numbers generated on the dyno. I was trying to see if anyone else out there had tried it. I am getting 305 whp with the tune, ss race and rpi scoop

Zed, you said you have the software? Can you give any more details? Driving impressions? Customer service? Basically, if you could give a full review I would appreciate it!

With software alone on this motor you cannot get 33 RWHP. Believe me when I tell you it cannot be done and anyone who claims it can cannot be trusted.

I do not have baseline dyno's, but when I dynoed my car on a dynojet I put down 305 at the wheels. The mods done to the car were: Veloce ECU, SS Race, RPI Scoop and K&N Drop.

I am not sure if anyone else has dynoed stock on a dynojet, but I would be interested to see what the M puts down.

As far as the ECU tune, I enjoy it. It gives more power through the gears....it really pulls hard above 4000 rpms, which is great on the track when holding the gears out. It was very simple to remove the ECU but I did have to deal with shipping the ECU to Arizona. They had the ECU back to me in 2 Days. I was in contact with John who was a really nice guy and is very confident in his products. If I was unsatisfied or wanted any adjustments made they were able to service the client until completely satisified. Overall great people/ outstanding customer service along with a good product.

I am pretty sure they are claiming up to 33 HP at the crank. That is not WHP.

To do any real comparison you have to dyno a before and after on the same dyno. Even the same type of dyno could be very different in numbers. But as long as you feel a performance gain and are happy thats all that matters when it comes to software

Garage List
I see that my company is being chatted about! It's good to see another happy client out there.

We have a very nice set up for this engine that delivers real world performance when you put your foot down. I personally developed this set up on the track, to generate more driving enjoyment, as that's what I feel this stuff is about.

While our software engineers use dyno's, it's really about what the car can do, performance wise when driving. That is where the real development takes place and to see what our clients say when they drive, gives us the feedback that we know we are on the right track. Check our testimonials page for what others are saying. http://www.veloceperformance.com/testimonial.htm

I don't check this site that often, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to call or email. 602-430-6671/Dino@VelocePerformance.com. I will also try to stop by more often, and thanks for the props!

when companies avertise their cars the HP they list and retail by is the crank Horsepower which is an estimate of how much power the engine is making. However by the time the power is tranfered from the engine to the wheels theres gonna be a loss of power. Usually 15percent on rear wheel drive cars and 25 on four wheel drive cars.

Wheel HP is the rating of HP people are after cause it represent the actual power we are getting and feeling. A stock Z4m usually dyno at 250-260 Wheel horse power. In ^ case he got 305 whp from the dyno which by an estimate is about 350->360 crank hp = 30 more than factory claimed stock crank hp
