2014 Cayman S brakes setup on z4m

Hi guys,

Just want to get some feedback and opinions on something I am looking at. I obtained a pretty much slightly used (3000 mile) Brembo kit from a 2014 Cayman S. Fronts and rears..

The part numbers are

OEM Brembo 997351421 / 997351422

Rears

Oem brembo 996352422 / 996352421

And am currently in talks with Eric from Rally road productions, who also has a few sets of these calipers and is looking to make new brackets for them to fit these to our z4m.. These calipers (fronts) are larger than the other Porsche ones people have fit before.

He's currently looking at how pedal feel is going to be with these mounted on out z4ms. On stock oem rotors.. The reason I wanted to stay with our oem rotors is that they are actually quite nice, being full floaters and all.

Anyways, questions about brake bias have come up, as has pedal feel.. Anyone want to add their 5c to this thread is more than welcome..

Anyways, intrested to what you guys think..

Not a Z4 M though, but I'm going for 345 mm Z4 M discs and Porsche Boxster S calipers on my Z3 track car. I bought adapters made by a Swedish company called Millway. The adapters fits calipers with parts number 996351425 and 996351426.

I'm in the process of piecing together the 996 kit as my winter project.

Same rear PN as your kit here but different fronts.

Curious to see what you get going for this kit good luck

Sorry guys, this thread needs to go in the bin, I resold the calipers, too many unknowns after Eric said it was going to be a one off.. for braking, I don't want a one off, I want a solid performance set with history to back it up.
Saftey first.

Sounds like a good decision.

I ended up with the same decision after getting an M Performance BBK, too many unknowns and many modifications needed, ended up selling it of and went with Stoptechs.
