No, as a mid section replacement with high flow CAT / resonator,
there are way too many variables at either end with the cars that these will be installed on for any meaningful data.
Most gains will always be with headers & these will complement that.

I'm torn between 100 and 300 cells . I realize it's a hard question to answer. I'd appreciate any input. What is the expected difference in noise between the two on a car with non-resonated x-pipe and Stromung cans. How much of a power difference would there be with ess vt1-445?

There is some discussion in the 300 vs 100 poll thread.
http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=813623
It sounds like you have a handle on the basic differences....
100s will no doubt be more free flowing but will be louder and suppress rasp less
300s are less free flowing not quite as loud but will suppress rasp better.
300s will also have a better chance of compliance with testing and a better chance of no SEL.

For my own choice; less rasp is a big plus, and I would like no SEL

Please put me down for 300 cells. I'm planning to run resonators for maximum flow and only swap in 300 cell cats for smog. My car is not a DD so more rasp is ok.

for me it would have to be the 100 cell option..... They will more the likely pass emissions test, you really shouldn't be getting a CEL either...... The Supersprint unit uses 100 cell HJS cats...these 100% pass all UK tailpipe test and trust me, they are stringent over here with that stuff!

For me, it would without doubt be the 100 cell option..... Even more so being FI... i want minimal restriction without the hastle of having to change back yearly for the smog tests!!

Updated.

You don't mention 300 cell 'definite' or 'preferred'

I have you down as definite for now.

I just noticed the pictures of the s-pipe are labeled coated. Is that the bright silver coating?

Yes it is.
There aren't any samples of the other coatings.

Please add me to the definite list for 300 Cells.

This is great buy, I seen pipes similar to these but charging like $2K. Lets reach 19+ so we all can get it for $850.
