2008 Z4 3.0i 2E84 Water pump
Hello there, I have a 2008 Z4 with the N52 with ~75k and am having issues with the water pump not turning on. I've swapped it out twice now so I can't believe it is a factory defective pump.
I was able to pull two codes for the engine with my friends scanner. 2E84- Electric water pump communication 2E7C- Bit- serial Data Interface, Signal I am wondering if maybe there is a bad relay or fuse for the water pump? does anyone know where such things would be? If anyone has had similar issues I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks! |

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
