06 Z4M coupe Interlagos Blue/Black interior
Unfortunately, or fortunately, it is that time to part with my '06 Z4M coupe. I'm looking to get into a Ferrari 360, and this will help with the downpayment! So, before I get into the details, this could be a little tricky to sell right now. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan for the next 8 months. The car is in Orlando, FL being driven by my old man. So, I am in no rush to sell it, but I do WANT to. Details: 2006 BMW Z4M coupe Mileage: around 61k miles Interlagos Blue/Black leather interior Carbon fiber interior Premium package Stromung exhaust (stock exhaust is in my house in Louisville, KY) Black kidney grills Leather Z armrest (black with silver/trim) Aux input for iPod in factory ashtray Interior xenon bulbs Tinted windows Maintenance: -Oil/filter change every 5k miles -brake flush Aug 2012 -new front brake rotors/pads Aug 2012 -new air filter Aug 2012 -Transmission/Diff fluid change Aug 2012 -Newish tires (Conti DWS) less than 10k miles -Replaced CDV valve -Replaced passenger window regulator -All 4 x wheels professionally redone -Had professional detail in May 2013 Upon return, I was going to do an Inspection II, which it is due for. *Issues* I've had 2 x claims on it: 1) My garage ceiling collapsed which put scratches on the hood and front bumper. Both were resprayed and the finishes are better than factory... 2) About 3 x weeks ago, a lady hit my rear bumper at about 5 mph at a stop light. Bumper was replaced, painted, looks great. 3) A couple surface scratches in the passenger seat and the armrest cover. You can completely remove the armrest if you don't like it. I love the storage capacity and it is only like $100 from Leather Z 4) Surface scratches on the 9/3 O clock position of the steering wheel 5) When I left, I was battling a steering wheel shimmy. I purchased new control arm bushings, but since I'm here and not there, I can't install them....my Dad says he doesn't notice it and thinks I'm either crazy or just super sensitive.... Either way, I would invite you to do a PPI (Fields BMW of Orlando is near) before any purchase.... The scratches...no idea where they came from but unfortunately, I bought the car sight unseen as a CPO and I noticed them later. This car is insured by USAA and ensure complete satisfaction....love them. Other than that, I've purchased some control arm bushings to replace as I usually do on all my BMWs around 60k miles Everything works, love this car....I'm awaiting more pictures from my Dad, but here is what I have right now. I own the car, title in hand, and like I said, am looking to make a fair deal based on required maintenance, imperfections, etc. I'm not trying to hide anything, I am an enthusiast and spare no expense keeping my BMWs as perfect as possible. I will get more pics, including the interior as soon as I can.

Beautiful car at a good price, extended leather and carbon trim really look good together. GLWS!
...and perhaps more importantly, best of luck to you overseas! |

Thanks! This has been my baby/Sunday driver for the most part. I truly do love the car...perfect balance, drives like a go cart! I thought hard about installing a VF/ESS supercharger, but with two other BMWs that are turbo, I found it best to keep this one stock for the most part.

Unfortunately, no. I would like to sell the car before I get back and don't have the time to reinstall the rear exhaust.....I did get to enjoy the Stromung for about 1k miles though....purchased in the last group buy!
The arm rest is not worth taking out and selling.....and the aux kit is just cool instead of the ash tray! I think I threw out the stock, chrome grills.

Some more pics..
I think the scratches on the steering wheel, while common on these cars, looks a lot worse than it is....plan to replace them when I get back anyways, $200 from realoem.com, or wrap them in carbon fiber

Well, no, I don't need my OEM exhaust, but I have no way to ship it out at this time since it is at my house and I'm deployed until June 2014....

You know what, you are absolutely correct! I guess I didn't do my research and just went with what the dealer said....there is no extended leather on the doors, just the middle section! I will adjust my initial post....

I'm interested in buying this car and the assorted spare OEM spare parts. Where can i see. the service records? Can they be brought to where the car is. Would I be able to take the car to a shop of my choice
to have a substantial inspection done? When can i see the car and the records? |

You can take the car to any shop of your choice, again at your cost. You can see the car anytime in Orlando, just have to coordinate with my Dad. As I mentioned records/title will be there in a couple of weeks. Also, be advised that I do all my own work on all my vehicles, so you won't see many records from Sam Swope BMW....you will see every receipt for everything I ever purchased for this car.

Mike, I really wish I could, but the deal is done and the car is no longer in my possession.
