Arrived today! Looks good to my untrained eye... Scheduling install with my mechanic for later this month, along with my euro headers and vibra-tech motor mounts.

Also received mine.

Haven't had a chance to open and review.

Will most likely install headers at a later time. Will be lurking to see how other peeps' installs go first. lol

Update on S-pipes not shipped for repair......

Just got word from DKF, that there are a few that have not responded to DKF attempts to contact them.

"Please contact DKF ASAP. the guys in the lower 48 can call if they want,
or send me an email with their number I will call them. Guys in Canada please email."

DKF has been trying to contact the last few no luck.
These GB members chose to have the repair done but have not shipped them back.
They need to know if they want their S pipe fixed or not as the vendor will soon stop doing these repairs.

Thanks

Just opened mine. Even better than I was hoping for with the coating. Perfect. Now I'll wait to hear how everyone else's install goes before I decide what to do with this...

yes... the design by DKF on the fix was very creative.
They pushed VERY hard on the vendor to do it this way, without any welding.

I assumed there would be welding involved and therefore at the very least some grinding around the base of the bung. How did they fix it?

It's a custom machined adapter.
They cut off the old one at the base of the threads, then drilled it out & tapped a new thread for the adapter to screw in.

This was definitely not a cheap fix.

Any advice on the very best videos and/or pictures, guides, etc. to give my mechanic regarding the re-route of the sensor leads without cutting/extending them? I know this has been covered in several threads, but not sure which is best. I trust my guy, but he hasn't done this on a Z4M before, and I'm really hoping for an emissions complaint setup on the first try... Thanks in advance!

Thank you. That link looks great. Hopefully my guy nails this on the first try. I'm dropping it off this week!

Not sure how long I'll get to enjoy the upgrade, however, as I just had a chance to drive the new C7 Stingray, and for someone who never thought he'd even think about buying a Vette, I'm kind of thinking about it...

Touché. Install is happening early next week while I'm out of town and should be done by the time I get back on the first. I'll let everyone know how it goes...

Woop Woop I'm famous!

I'm eventually gonna add another video to that series.
OEM fitment calls for one 11781406621 1075mm post cat O2 sensors and one shorter 11781406622 935mm post cat O2 sensors.

I feel everyone should order two of the longer 11781406621 1075mm post cat O2 sensors instead of the one long and one short one. This will help the fitment from being so tight. I will be testing that this year and reporting my findings.
