No interest? Pass the word along to friends if no one is buying on the forum at the moment. I'm moving and like to push the car along before I go. Thanks!

it will be going on autotrader soon but probably at a higher price. I love this car but winter is coming and I have no more storage space for it. Im sure I will buy one again in my future.

have you tried carmax? If you talk the car up they might give you around your original asking price.

Definitely try this. I got $20k for my '07 Z4 coupe last month. This should fetch quite a bit more. Also, damn, I want this! Even my fiancé thinks it would be awesome to have a matching roadster and coupe!

i do vinyl wraps, the huge piece of aluminum just didnt do it for me and im not a fan of the soft looking carbon stock pieces, so i wrapped it and it looks better than both. i dont mind the center and gauge trim but that huge piece of aluminum going across was just annoying.

Dang...makes me wonder if there's a market for buying these things in fall/winter and then flipping them in spring?! I'm heading through Ohio in the next 60 days. If you're getting desperate in the next several weeks, shoot me a PM. Maybe I can talk my wife into owning two for a while.

i figured winter might have an impact slightly, but people looking for these cars arent necessarily area specific. if youre looking for an M then you know you may or may not have to travel a bit to get it. I was unimpressed with the salesman. He was nice, but knew nothing about cars. When he was entering my information I told him I had a 2006 M Roadster sitting outside. He started to enter M3... I said no no no it's a Z body, so he entered Z3 and I had to correct him again.

That's a pathetic offer. When I took my last car (JCW Mini) to carmax, I asked for the manager and the appraiser and talked to them cause there was no way I was letting them touch my car. Found out they would have valued it based on cooper S auction prices; they had no values for a JCW. Wonder if it's a similar situation.

They valued my Z4MR earlier this year for over 10k more. Given it had a little more than half the miles of yours, but thats not a 10k+ difference. Apparently there was a guy who worked in the appraisal office that knew what the car was and I had talked it up with the production numbers. The people are you carmax are just stupid, hopefully the drive was fun at least. GLWS

WOW. I was insulted when they offered me $23k for my 25,000-mile M Coupe, and I just swung by because of the crazy numbers mentioned in another thread. Thing is, I've sold three or four cars to them in the past and they've always been over-market for me (my 2003 325i got insane money) - it seems to be the Z4Ms that aren't worth much to them. NADA puts mine at $27k trade-in, which seems saner.

yeah i was a bit disappointed with my experience there, it was the columbus ohio location. i called them today to see if there was a mistake made and tried to "talk up" my car as some of you did. the guy i was talking to said they dont take into consideration rarity. i told them it was about 5k to 6k below kbb trade in and they said they dont look at third party sites like that
