Rear Bumper reflector not Flush? - here is why

I always had an issue with the rear reflector not sitting flush with the body line at the top of the reflector.
While doing some work on the bumper I discovered why.


Blue arrows are heat welds...
BMW assembly missed a heat weld spot where the RED arrow is near my finger
(ignore the other red arrow bottom left)

Is this something fixable? Squirt some epoxy back there or something maybe?

Yes definitely fixable with some bumper fill epoxy

Yeah... Me too.
I look at this many times & only found it when I was filling in the opening.

Cool. Thanks! I probably never would have noticed that weld missing on my own. Don't have any plans to have my bumper off but if I do I'll certainly be looking for it.
