please help me interpret my dyno results (faloff in power above 6k)

-roughly 64k miles
-inspection 2 done last summer (~7k ago)
-rogue x pipe, cpi headers
-frank smith tune
-pulleys
-really, really hot today in sacramento (ask finnegan!)

im not (too) concerned about the (what i perceive to be a) lack of power, more concerned about the power after 6k. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Michael

edit- granted the operator let off the throttle early but you can clearly see the curve was not going to recover and magically go above 250 whp

I think it very well could've gone up higher still, and the operator should rev all the way up to fuel cut. All in all, I'm not sure why the dynos for this car have been on the lower side, since I recall your car being peppier than mine when they both were NA with slight bolt-ons :/

Do you usually go to the dyno when it is 107 degrees?

Most likely a weak fuel pump, assuming his foot was in it to redline.

AFR still looks ok though. He should run it up to 8k rpm, unless he noticed a significant power loss or other issue at WOT.

BTW Mike, what section1 and mufflers are you currently running? Not that I think they're the issue here, but ughh...your car should be making more power

Our stock ecus apparently stop fueling at 6500 according to Frank at ttfs.

Edit- seems that was stated above, and you have a tune which would eliminate that

You should check out the Dyno thread from the E90 forum, lots of good information from a post started by Axiom.

What car is this? I or SI ? Either case the ECU does not cut fuel at 6500 RPM. Soft limiters start to kick in a bit higher.
