SS Race Installed...too loud?

I was expecting more volume but man this is louder than I thought, especially at low volume. I LOVE the sound but wish it was turned down to 7 instead of 11!

Does new exhaust mellow at all over time?

Nope - may not be as harsh but usually gets a little louder as it ages

In my experience, exhausts get a little quieter over time. Or maybe I just go more deaf?

Usually with carbon build-up the exhaust may quiet down. But usually during break-in it will get more smooth.

My experience is that exhausts get louder over time and yes the SS race is quite loud when I heard it on a Z4M at a track.

I got mine used and were still pretty LOUD...so I can tell you that they will definitely not mellow out over time.

I was getting excited, then there wasn't a sound clip.

We can trade back and forth. If my power loops get too quiet, we can switch for a while till you are tired of fairly quiet and I am tired of loud.
