Passenger Belt Tensioner
Hi All,
It seems my OCD kicked in hard today as there is an airbag light on. I have a C310+ Scan Tool and it threw a code 98F6: "Resistance, firing circuit, safety battery terminal (E85), or belt tensioner, rear right (E6x), too high".This is for the passenger seat. This fault can be cleared but it comes back on every startup. Where should I diagnose from? The wiring went bad or belt tensioner needs to be replaced? I do remember replacing the yaw sensor last year which sits in the passenger footwell that went bad and threw the holy trinity DSC lights which were resolved. Could it be water caused an issue? |
