N52 Crank and cam teeth

Can anyone confirm the following:

Crankshaft 60 teeth with two missing per rev (60-2)
Intake and Exhaust 6 teeth or is this simply 1 pulse per cam rev?

Also, can anyone point me to a MSV70 explanation document that outlines crank and cam signals and relationship? Seems to be one for the S54 engine ( http://www.unofficialbmw.com/images/...lectronic2.pdf ) but I cannot find anything on the N52.

Otherwise, if these engines are similar in signals and ECU control, then I can go off the S54.

What are you trying to do?

Try pinging hassmachine he seems to have done an enormous amount of research on the msv70. He "lurks" in the E90 forums.
