To zubydafa, how is the APR GTC200 hold to the trunk? How many holes have you drilled?

I would love to have one but not sure if I want to make holes on the trunk...

Not zubydafa, but also have an APR wing. You drill 3 1/4" holes for each brace.

Trust me, you will measure and remeasure a ton of times before you drill the first hole.

The carbon fiber base plate rests on a base gasket and covers up all the area you drill into, so worse case it isn't fatal if you make a mistake.

A tip from my install that isn't in the docs is to use red loctite on the threads that connect to the bracket and blue loctite on all the threads that take nuts.

APR has excellent instructions and its definitely a DIY (once you build up the confidence).

yup it's a nice DIY and was definitely hard to bring myself to drill the first hole, but everything came out nicely. i contoured my base plates to the shape of the outside trunk...let me see if I can dig pictures. it's oriented slightly different than riddler's.

Zubydafa, do you have the first gen one? Before Tony made the Z4 specific base? The new base fits our car perfect.

I ordered mine over tha Christmas this year. I'm assuming its the most current...the base contours very well
