Warning Light Assistance

*** I have already checked the manual and didn't see this particular combo...

Can anyone assist with this please? The seatbelt light is on because I ran into the house to get my phone so I could snap a pic. It's the low tire pressure/DSC/brake combo that concerns me. I have only put on about 25 miles since pulling her out of storage and it is raining.

That's similar to what I'm dealing with right now. It means there's a fault in either your ABS or DSC system. You can't pull the code with a normal code reader and have to get it read at the dealer or shop with similar tools.

If you just pulled the car out of storage, try driving it for a while and see if it goes away. If it doesn't go away, it could be any number of things including a wheel speed sensor, yaw rate sensor, DSC or ABS unit...

If it ends up being a wheel speed sensor, let me know and I can ship you one of my old ones for free (only pay the cost of shipping).

Thank you. I just went back out and started her up and drove a few miles. No lights now. We will see what it looks like tomorrow.

I have a dealer less than a mile from the house, so if it comes back, I will stop in.

I've had it come on and go off, and not return for several years. It's normal. If it comes on and stays on, that's when it needs to be fixed. When I finally pulled the code after a year without DSC (didn't miss it, but got tired of the lights), it had appeared 255 times...

I got the same thing when I took my car out of storage last week. I'm sure it was because the engine just barely started and B+ got too low. I'm probably going to bring my scanner home tomorrow and take a look. If you lived close I'd hook you up.

I ended up having 2 codes in the ABS module:

5E1F - Incorrect VIN calibration required

5E16 - No message from instrument cluster

I just deleted them and they didn't come back. I think it was from the super low battery voltage causing certain modules to shut down.

batt disconnect (for longer than 10 or so minutes) will also cause some of that.

I had the same light combo on my car today when it came out of storage. I had the car running a few weeks ago and must have left the battery connected by accident, it was dead as a doornail today and I had to boost the car. I only put about 10km on the car but the lights didn't go out yet.

This is a bug, IMHO.
My battery went weak with age, got the same lights, limp mode, and a scan told me the TPS was bad.

In my industry if something you could well expect to happen (batteries will get weak) had crazy consequences, everybody would be running around with their hair on fire saying "why wasn't this tested !!!"

This is a common problem across all manufactures. Computers need full power and when they don't get it things like this happen. I'd take the trifecta over some of the other problems I've seen in this scenario.

Thanks folks!

I am relieved to hear this. I actually had the car stored for four months and since we had decent weather here in MI all winter, I gambled on not visiting the storage unit to run her mid-winter.

I had to have AAA come out and jump the car in the storage unit. I will run by the dealer to pull codes just to be safe.

Now that the dreaded April snow is over, I got to take her out today. No warning lights.
