Firewall Grommet // Pass Through

Need help finding where the grommet is on the firewall that leads into the cabin, need to know so i can wire a switch for a project. Thanks

Not really...also not sure if Z4M non-M have the same firewall design. Thanks for trying though

Well, you could look for the same parts with a realoem Z4 3.0SI search.

Parts are interchangeable between cars. The hole is part of the sound generator unit on the non M cars and is located on the firewall directly below the battery terminal and to the left of the brake master cylinder when viewed from front of car.

ohh, great thanks, i definitely know where that is. Any idea where it ends up once it gets inside?

Can't help there. Haven't been adventureous enough or had the need to follow it into the dash. Let us know what you find.
