http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Z4-Hardt...6f44b7&vxp=mtr No affiliation with the sellers. More than I'd pay, but I suppose if you live somewhere really cold... |

The first one is right near me but he is not liking my offers so far
I know they are in demand and not cheap but I will be danged if I am going to pay for a top that cost 1/3 of what I gave for the entire car. I would give him a grand and pick it up this weekend. Marc

Z4 tops are more expensive than Z3 tops but still these prices are unrealistic. Market price for these things is usually $1500-2000, depending on the time of year, cheaper if you buy one locally (e.g., via craigslist).

Spot on. Also color makes a big difference. Black is definitely the most valuable color because it looks OK on pretty much any color car. The odd colored tops are much harder to sell, because you're looking at $800-$1000 right off the bat to get it painted.

Those have been on for awhile and I think there not going to get the price from what I have seen on CL. I just missed a Silver in Seattle , I spoke with the seller and he would take $1200 for the top, cover and cart. I could not get a mover in time to run it to Chicago.
BTW still looking for a Silver top for my 06 Quote:
