yeah mines due too, always hate this time as in the UK its an hour long inspection and its very thorough. Last year i was given a warning for the loud exhaust! This year I'm not sure its going to pass emissions with the 100 CELL cats.

Great news!!

No inspections required here. Now for me, that's no issue as I keep my cars in good repair and the Z is babied and stored away from the ravages of winter.

However, no inspections means that from time to time, some yobbo (a Top Gear term), wearing his ball cap backwards, will pull up next to you in a rusty and riced out fart-can-equipped Pontiac Firebird, with various loosely hanging body panels resonating loudly in time to the over-boosted subwoofer, as rust particles shake loose and drift serenely to the ground.

What can I say but "insert double / triple facepalm graphics here" LOL!!!

yeah its pretty nice when there isn't much to worry about, though last year they frowned a little at my race exhaust, and was lucky not to have to go home and swap out the stock mufflers..

Loving the car atm..

now if i could just get a few days away to install the parts I've been hoarding over the last few months..

Bee, mate they are also very anal here, esp if the car is more than 10 years old.. Lots of cars here when going for rego check/sold (car must have rego check here when sold/changing owners) are put over the pits and then black listed if they are too crap (or they consider them too crap/bad looking for Dubai roads) thats pretty bad, cos then you cant even sell the car anymore and is just for parts.. remember you can get fined here for even driving around in a dirty car.. lol

My missus has been pulled over by the cops while driving my Coupe, but they (so they recon the dirty scuzzbags) just wanted to have a look at the car. . . . sure, keep walking buddy, just keep walking… >

yeah i wouldnt like that, theirs laws and being strict and theirs taking the piss alittle bit!! pulling over another mans wife to "check the car" is not acceptable imo.
