it was terribly tight. the worst was the left shoulder, for sure. i always take into account, though, that seats break in a bit from my back width - the bolsters eventually spread out a bit, the seat backs flatten a bit, etc. the z4 definitely isn't an ideal cockpit for me at all, however i am used to sitting in small cars and it honestly didn't bother me to the point where i'm disinterested in this model. it's close though...very close!

the whole situation was so odd. i, like you guys, was so surprised at the exterior condition. it was almost like the gentleman sort of stumbled on the car at the dealer and got it without realizing it is truly a special piece, more than a "tool" used for transportation. my wife's Honda Civic Si sedan (of the same vintage as this guy's car) is parked in a municipal court lot every single day, a gym lot, supermarket...everywhere - we drive it everywhere and treat it like a simple economical transporation tool. it has almost 100k and the exterior is markedly better than that of this guy's z4.

haha, when i got in the p-side for Armand to drive it during the inspection, he laughed at me. like full on grade school kid laugh. i guarantee it looked ridiculous but i know for a fact that it was harder for me to fit in the passenger side than the d-side because of the glove box. if we got into an accident my knee caps and ACLs would have been obliterated!

That's one way you can ensure you're always in the driver's seat. "Safety man, would love to let you drive it buddy, but I can't sit in the passenger seat, so I've gotta drive."
