The OP specifically asked for feedback. Does that mean that only positive opinions should be posted? I'm just sayin'.

I too think they look jenky as hell, but to each their own. I've always been a fan of the 99% OEM look. That's just me.

Yeah course everyone has their opinion AND i voiced mine.

BTW you do know said headlights are based on the E89 design and like nearly all new BMW models, guess that makes it 99% OEM look!! oh just sayin'

Whatever man, i'm not out to start a flame war over headlights. Opinions offered, as asked by OP. To each their own.

I've seen these in person, they definitely don't look any where near OE quality.

hahaha... good stuff!
Looks are completely subjective (thank goodness); & if these float anyone's boat, then it doesn't matter a whit what anyone else thinks.

I just bought a set last week due to my curiosity and wanting the halos for my 06' 3.0i, they should arrive in the next few days ($326.95 including shipping)

The way I figure it, if they are really cheap/junk, then I have something to use while I clean up and retro-fit my OEMs with all of the DIY upgrades; if they are quality, then maybe I'll kepp them and sell my post face-lift OEMs after i retro-fit. In any event, my OEMs are coming out as I am determined to fit halos to the car.

I'll post my pics after I get them in, should be done by next weekend.

Brgds,

How did you wire your halos/running/turn signals?

I was looking at the wiring picture when I bought mine and could not understand what function was what.

I realize the halos need to be wired with the running/marker light, but what I don't know is what they are using for the RL/Turn.

Is the outside marker light now a turn signal, or is the "eyebrow" the turn (since the lower turn signals are deleted?)

thnx much!!

Their plug and play for all normal functions.

Top eyebrow, angel eyes and small LED light, need to be wired up separate.

Top eyebrow is on multiplug but on my car no wiring to cars multiplug to match ( maybe meant for euro market and Canadian cars?????)

Angel eyes can be wired up on their own ( i just ran wires to a separate switch on the panel under AC controls.

On mine yeah, i was dissappointed with them, their just a normal bulb, not ccfl. I suppose the bulb could be changed, i didn't have enough time to look into that, i needed the car so just reassembled the car. I will at some point check it out.
