Driver door makes more noises???
I bought a 03 z4 convertible recently. i test drove other z4's they all seems to have a bit more noises when closing the door compare to passenger door. do you guys experience this? is it fixable?

Yep, they do, you can get a piece of sound deadening material like Dyanmat or BMW P/N 51481923969 to help with the sound.
I added the BMW part to an order from tischer because it was cheap, when I had the door apart for something else I pealed the back and stuck it to the inside of the door, helped quite a bit.

Some early models had issues with the bowden cable and the fix was some sort of insulation or rubber bumper. It could also be the majority of these 2 seaters have a single occupant, so that door is slammed more often than the passenger door. Make sure the weatherstripping is well cared for and soft.
