Dyno results: 06' 3.0i with manifold conversion
Hey all, thought I would post the results of the Dyno on my 06' 3.0i (N52 with 56750 miles) since I have recently swapped out the stock intake manifold with a 3 stage (si) intake manifold, thanks to the DIY -C- posted.
Setup: 3 stage manifold conversion, K&N High-flow drop in filter, charcoal air-box filter delete, 93 octane. Outside air temperature was 98 degrees, not sure what the humidity was, maybe 60-70%.... Best run was 191.0HP with 176.0 lbs of torque; The guy running the Dyno claims a 20% loss, so if 20% is indeed correct, this puts me at 229.2HP 1st run: 188.3 HP / 173.7 T 2nd run: 189.0 HP / 174.8 T 3rd run: 191.0 HP / 176.0 T Link to the PDF graph below, or scroll down to the enlarged picture 2006 Z4 3.0i Dyno.pdf I plan to Dyno it again once I get the ECU tuning done ..... more to come! Very nice -- now the other question is whether you could get the SI's software tuning put into your ECU? I think that was the other big item -C- (Chris) had mentioned. If you can have a tuner do that, I bet you'll make some big gains.
Overall though, very nice indeed! Chris
