Fangs modified

I think I figured out what I don't like about our front bumper cover design. I think the fangs should be pointed inward instead of outward. I am highly considering having a shop make the subtle modification on my bumper before I have it painted. Here is a quick mockup of what I am thinking. I used an image from a fellow zpost member so thanks in advance! I think it's a simple yet vast improvement. What do you guys think?

Here is the original for comparison:

The fangs point back in towards the center of the car.

JM2C; it's OK but I prefer the original where they follow the line from above.

I like it, but your first speed bump will NOT. haha

for the best look, I think the middle area between the fangs needs to be filled with something

But the car will not be any lower... I am only filling in a little on the side of the fang... not going lower.

I understand, but that area rubs fairly often during my careful driving, and that shape would "catch" the ground even more

I suggest making a triangle out of plastic, bolting it on, and giving it a few days or week of testing before commiting to a final version

I agree. I like that it's not lower and that it makes a trio with the lines of the hood and bumper cover.

I agree with you. It looks better pointed inward.

I'd like to see the extension further in. Imagine the hood seam carrying onward to the ground, THEN add the lip to there. Almost as if creating an "X".

OR....pick up the line coming downward from the bumper cue...same angle really...but would be a shorter fang extension than from the hood line.

Might be a fun Photoshop to do ??

I believe I tried that and it didn't look right... the space between the fangs was too small.

As an update I decided the mod was not enough for me to like the front nose. Instead, I am going Hamann front with the lower lights deleted.

Any pics of that? I have no idea what it looks like and what lower lights are you deleting?

Ignoring the license plate (and the rest of the car) it would look something like this front end I poorly photochopped.
