Exhaust Backfire

I have a 06 3.0 si. Its automatic sadly. But I was wondering how I can get it to backfire. I've done it unintentionally, but how would i get it to backfire intentionally with my stock exhaust? Would I need a tune for that and if so where would I find the Maps for it?

Not sure it'll work with auto or stock exhaust, but I can get consistent 12 gauge shots out of my ///M with aftermarket exhaust by gently tickling right at the edge of deceleration at about 3000 rpm.

You can blow out your muffler with backfires. The newer Ms and other performance cars have the farts on decel from the ecu and are safely done.

I have an 06 3.0i roadster. Did a muffler delete and sound awesome.
Sounds like an M.

Cut your off and add a muffler tip.

I think I might just do that. What muffler tip would you recommend? Or should I do a resonator delete?

You need to get rid of your cats and get a tune if you want pops/crackles or even flames. Extra fuel needs to be dumped at no load and high rpm, and ignition timing has to be retarded in those areas of the timing map. Your cats will quickly self destruct if you do this on a stock car.
