Rear reinforcement plate torque
I dropped my exhaust to install the Autosoulutions SSk. Now I can't seem to find the torque specs for the aft reinforcement plate. My copy of the TIS will not work on my new operating system. Anyone know. And when torquing the diagonal braces does the weight have to be on the wheels? Thanks for your help. I can't wait to get it back on the road.

The tightening torque is 59Nm + 90 Degree( 1/4 turn after 59Nm is reached). BMW says these bolts are 1-time use but I did re-use them but not on the car that I track -been on for a month so I'm not sure why they are 1-time use! I will replace the ones on my coupe when i drop the plate.
Hope this helps |
