Viva le manual! I don't want this to turn into a sequential vs manual argument, but I'm really disapointed a true manual transmission is being retired rather than perfected in sport/supercars these days.

IMHO sequential manuals are the pinnacle of manual gearboxes in that they have already been "perfected".
Back in the day, they would never have even thought of such a technology. And now they're all over the place, even on mass-produced street cars, with dual-clutch no less!

If the Z4M had a sequential manual option, I'd actually probably go for that
I bet I can gain at least 2 full seconds on the track by not having to clutch
