Any pics of 18" Forgestars mounted?

I am pretty set on putting a set of Forgestars under my M coupe for day to day duty and using my stockers for auto-x/track but am on the fence about going to 19s". I think 19s" look great, (maybe a little big with certain wheels) but I like the functionality of 18s."

Does anyone have pics of a set of 18" Forgestars mounted up or 18" Apex Arc-8s?

Also anyone running 19X8.5 F 19X10s in the rear that can tell me how it affected the overall performance of the car. Rub, handling, noise etc?

Cheers

There aren't any Z4 M photos that have been provided but I do have photos on a Z3 M

The car is running 18x9" front and 18x10" rears

The 18" Forgestar wheels do not come close to meeting the required load ratings for the BMW fitment. They claim their wheels meet the JWL standard (JWL requires 1532lbs load rating per wheel), yet their wheels are only 1200lbs load rated. Every time the issue comes up on the forums they just copy past the same verbiage (I mean exactly the same colored font blurb) that their wheels are stronger then cast, and great quality, and completely ignore the actual question, and skirt around the issue of not meeting requirements. So they really aren't a comparison to any other BMW fitment wheel on the market including cast wheels since they're the only wheels I've ever seen that sacrificed strength for weight reduction like that.

Ah, I have seen that pic thanks. Looks like business with that set up. I wrote off the Forgestars after doing a little homework. Maybe I will be the first to have pics of that set up on the Z4m......

I "wrote them off" simply do to the 6-8 weeks it would take to get them. I need a set of wheels before the end of the month. I ordered up a set of Hyperblack ARC-8s.

Too bad because they look amazing on that M Coupe. I think I like the 18"s better on the Z4MC because it makes the car look longer.

They do look nice in 18s!

The wait is about the only downside to these wheels. All of the owners are extremely happy once they receive their lightweight F14s. It's like waiting for a set of BBS LM wheels in Champion Edition.....the owners of the Forgestar wheels were willing to wait it out for a great set of wheels. Thank you guys for the orders and your patience!

The wheels look amazing on that Z4!

Nice, I like your style. I had a Cayenne Turbo for a while but needed something a little more utilitarian so I replaced it with a pickup. I miss that monster. Glad I went with 18"s.

Got my Arc-8s today. They look fantastic. I dig the hyperblack finish. The bummer is they sent me 9.5 rears instead of 10s. Within 10 minutes of me emailing Apex explaining the screw up they had the the problem remedied and the 10s are on the way. That's the way you take care of mistakes. I will post pics soon.

I weighed the 18x10s @ a hair over 19.75 lbs. Apex advertises them at 19.95 lbs. Not bad. I'll take pics later when I get time.

Pre mounted pics. I am pleased with the hyperblack color. It is what I expected. They look dark grey to silver depending on the light and angle viewed. Overall quality of the finish leaves something to be desired. It is a little wavy in certain spots like it was laid on too thick. Enough to notice but for the price I guess it's acceptable. Probably an inherent issue with this finish. All of the wheels match color-wise. I have read complaints that hyperblack finish can be different between wheel batches and sometimes people will get a set of wheels with one looking very noticeably different. Overall they are a handsome looking set of wheels. Now to mount them up.

Ugh oh, sounds like they forgot to put some parts on them. Might want to just give them to me to be safe

Now I am just trying to decide wether to go with Dinan Springs, with a mild .5" drop or H&Rs with a 1" drop and a 15mm spacer on the rear to give it a nice rake. I won't sacrifice performance for looks though. Soon as I sort that out they are going on.

Arc-8s installed this morning. Stock suspension. I had fun kicking my fused stock wheels until they unglued from the hubs. I went out and tossed it around pretty hard and no rubbing as of yet with the 18x9s & 245/40s up front or 18X10s & 275/30 in the back. Quick impression: vastly improved grip. I was worried I would loose some throttle lift oversteer ability but overall feel is the same just at much higher threshold. Now to decide on springs.

Wow those look great! According to what I read, your fronts weigh 18.65lbs and rears 19.75lbs. OEM wheels are Front = 24.75 Rear = 25.88. You dropped 12.2 lbs from the front and 12.26 from the rear (assuming tire weight stayed the same). Did you notice any difference in acceleration?

I love the plate too.
