Removing the back of the seat... anyone ???
Has anyone tried removing the backs of their seats? I want to try removing it to see if I can get a little more recline out of the seat as I'm 6'4".
Thoughts/suggestions?? |

I have tried to put the back of the seat back into position and it was a PITA problem. You need to grab it by the sides and lift straight up. I don't think you get much room by doing this.

At 6'0" I fit, just, but my Son's 6'5" and still growing. How ugly is it? Have any pics? Any other downsides?

With the seat in position you can't see its missing. Had it this way for 6 years without issue.
If you were to remove it with the seat set in a more forward position it is noticeable if you look for it. |

I will do. I haven't gotten around to starting this project yet. Too many other things in life cropped up recently. but I will get around to it and I promise to post up some pictures.
