Strut tower measurements

Can several of you send me the measurements you get on your 2006-2008 e85/86's nonM's from center of brace bolts back to firewall nut center on both sides and from strut tower to strut tower brace bolt centers? I hope this request makes sense; you guys are awesome!
Thanks,
T

I'm just trying to acertain why I can't get my alignment within spec. I think my left strut tower maybe slightly tweaked. I don't want to spend dough to replace the strut and/or spindle unless I have too. I would appreciate some assistance here.

Alignment

Are you trying to align the car yourself ?

If it is on one of the laser machines with the attachment right on the wheels and it lines them up what difference does it make where the top of the strut is installed?

I maybe don't understand the geometry but depending on the rest of the suspension they may not be the same at all ??

I've had it aligned twice but can't reduce neg camber and increase neg caster enough to get the left front within stock specs. I'm getting inner tire tread wear.

Did you pull the pins to adjust the camber? Caster is not adjustable.

It would take an awful lot of tweaking to get the strut tower to be off. This I know...
Are all the bushings and ball joints good? Could you have a bent Wishbone?

The left front did take a hit down underneath which whacked the control arm out of the center ball joint. The lower control arm is new, I'm replacing the strut and spindle this week. I had the frame aligned and the car tracks beautifully. Front Alignment specs: lft-camber -1.5, castor4.8, toe.11. Rt.- camber-.3, castor5.6, toe.11 Rear specs-lftcamber-2.2,toe.08-Rt.-camber.-2.5,toe.16 These are all degrees
I was just hoping someone would place a dot with a marker on the center of bolts (4) that anchor the tower braces, remove the braces and measure between them for me. I guess it is a bit to ask.

You still did not anwser the question: "Did you (or the shop) pull the alignment pins from the top of the stuts"?

Yes, when I had the BMW dealer do the alignment first, he pulled the pins.
Thanks!

I forgot I drove the ///M in today.

Measuring from the rear (firewall) strut brace bolt (center of bolt) to the strut tower brace bolt (again, center of bolt) was apporx. 23.5 inches +- 1mm.

Meant to send this yesterday.

From the center of the left most centerline strut stud to the right most centerline strut stud is measures 36 3/4". This is not accurate since the tape measure has a slight upward bow due to the engine. I would hazard a guess that a better measurement would be 36 1/2".
